SHRINE   immortalizes the precious drinky-bird. At an obsequious angle and with various angles on an outdoor background, several pictures were taken of my dearest drinky-bird in various stages of drinking. These were sorted into a sensible order, and form the base frames of an animation of the bird's typical activity.
Now we heap praises on the thing with various photographed celebrations and offerings: sing its hymns (care and feeding instructions in bitmapped Goudy); pile effigies and sacrifices at its big plastic feet; frame it in various styles with candles and bright bells, herbs, its magical symbols and other pseudomystical shrinery; introduce it to minions and worshippers.

The workshop setup: bird taped to clipboard in a vise, camera in another vise, both vises duct-taped to a table, the table pivoted randomly and pictures shot, then sorted.
