Ragged vs justified

I'm not sure I like this question. For me, the issue of ragged vs justified needs to be addressed in relation to the funtion of the type. If the type is to be read, I prefer ragged, where the space between letters and the arrange of each letter to the next is of the utmost importance. However, often time there are things to be designed where the text really is never intended to be read, and where the form of a large body of characteres is therefore aided by forced justification.
