Because this problem set is based upon the notion
of a lattice of characters my objective
in problem 3 was to find a typographic motif that
that would be well served by this grid structure.
The crossword puzzle motif came to me as a well
integrated solution to this requirement by providing
a system by which the various words entered could
be interlaced while generating an enticing visual
quality. Furthermore, in replacing letters with
a words, the applet user's actions echo those of
the crossword puzzle solver.
