I am deeply interested in experimenting with temporal and spatio-temporal aesthetics of design. I have previously developed such notions in my own work in hypervideo, sound and tangible media. Yet I have not had the opportunity to express myself in a purely visual-computational domain. I believe that an abstract grammar can be devised to provide meaningful human-computer experiences in such a domain. I would like to explore such techniques within the framework of both contemporary design as well as consider the rich tradition of Indian (and Asian) design within a computational environment.
