     Now in polar and rectangular flavors!
     
     Thread began as the first baby step in an attempt to do cloth modeling, not as a specific project, but simply as a problem to solve.  i find myself constantly returning to it and testing new features - Runge-Kutta numerical analysis, nonlinear springs, and a surface friction model.  Threads has become a playground to test out new ideas before i attempt to apply them to blanky.  
     
     The latest addition was that of a friction model - now the thread can quasi-realistically slip as opposed to simply sticking to the surface.  you can catch a movie of it in action below
