mad marble


November 6-11 at London ICA

Created for exhibition at the London Institute of Contemporary Art, mad marble is a painting system done is reverse. Users' do not directly control artists' tools, but their gestures define the shape of the canvas through video. Marbles that inhabit the space roll around and leave trails of paint according to the shape and movement of the terrain. Justin, Nik, and Tom of ACG were artists in residence at the ICA from Nov 6-11, building interactive hardware on site and chatting with museum goers.
