  OVERVIEW
   SODA IS A PARTICLE SIMULATOR IN JAVA INTENDED TO VISUALLY DEMONSTRATE THE MOTION OF ELECTRONS AS THEY PASS THROUGH SIMPLE CIRCUITS. WITHIN THE MODEL, ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS ARE SUBSTITUTED WITH MECHANICAL ANALOGUES INTENDED TO INTERACT WITH THE SIMULATED PARTICLES IN ROUGHLY THE SAME WAY AS THEIR COUNTERPARTS.

MY GOAL IS TO PROVIDE THE USER WITH A DYNAMIC VISUAL APPROXIMATION OF THE ELECTRICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF THEIR OWN ANALOG CIRCUITS. THE USER WILL BE ABLE TO INTERACT WITH MODELS EITHER THROUGH A STANDARD CIRCUIT DIAGRAM, OR THE TWO-DIMENSIONAL SPACE OF THE PARTICLE SIMULATOR.

AN IMPORTANT AESTHETIC CONSIDERATION ASSOCIATED WITH THIS PROJECT WILL BE HOW TO EXPRESS THE MOTION OF THE MANY SMALL POINTS OF ENERGY AS THEY STUMBLE THROUGH THEIR WORLD OF WATERWHEELS AND COLLANDER (UNKNOWN TO THEM, INDUCTORS & RESISTORS). AS THIS PROJECT DEVELOPS, I HOPE TO MORE CLEARLY & ELEGANTLY EXPRESS TO THE USER THE BASIC PERSONALITIES OF THEIR LITTLE CIRUITS. DOES IT SLOW GROW IN PRESSURE TO A LIMIT POINT, COLLAPSE AND THEN BEGIN TO GROW AGAIN? DOES IT SHIFT SIDE TO SIDE? BECOME CONGESTED OR ALLOW FLOW READILY? OR DOES IT JUST SIT AND WAIT FOR SOMETHING TO HAPPEN FROM OUTSIDE?
