For this part of the assignment I played with "natural" ways of handling the camera while taking pictures of industrial subjects.  I hang the camera on a string and drove around for a bit.  So, the gravity took care of making things smooth and flowing.  I had to bounce camera around quite a bit so that the colors don't burn in too much.  It definitely looks captivating with very sharp neon colors flowing along smooth curves. CCD sampling came into play in some thinner and dimmer lines that look like beads.
