at the Art Directors Club Gallery
250 Park Avenue South
New York City
For
two weeks in May of 1999, Professor John Maeda's Aesthetics and Computation
Group at the MIT Media Laboratory held an exhibition of interactive
art and design at the prestigious Art Directors Club gallery in New
York City. The show featured the newest digital designs by more than
fifty past and present students, as well as an accompanying exhibit
of 50 prints created by Maeda from 1992 to 1995.
This
web site, which documents the exhibition, includes the interactive executables
(written in Java and OpenGL) which were shown at the gallery. The AGC/ADC
exhibition was made possible through the generous support of the Intel
Corporation.
