knotmonster


      knotmonster was the first version of sillystring - each point along the string is produced by moving a random amount in the x, y, and z directions. initially, i had problems with knotmonster wandering off the screen - such is the nature of random motion. i solved this by pulling the center of mass (average distances) of the glob of string back to the center of the screen, which yields an smoothly sliding, almost hyponotic effect
