with professor john maeda and the other founding members of the aesthetics and computation group i worked to make new inroads in the domain of computational aesthetics.

my particular interest was the GLOM, or information agglomerate. these are organic, visualizations of data (such as stock prices, color coordinates, web logs) designed to emphasize particular characteristics of the data through the manipulation of color, form and motion.
