p1/Imagine that the computer as you know it simply does not exist. Describe three tasks that you would want to use a "computer" for (whatever that may mean) and define three types of input devices you would design to interface with that computer. Use drawings, words, and storyboards to communicate: 1) the task, 2) the type of input device, 3) the type of interaction.
p2/Select one of the input devices from p1 and develop the most basic possible forms and architectures that would be used to represent the physical device. Design a corresponding application in proce55ing and the necessary hardware/physical form to realize a prototype that communicates the intent of your idea.
p3/Using one of your colleague's computer models, describe in particular what you find interesting about his/her work and what you find least interesting about it. Suggest ways that the work could be improved with concrete examples and sketches of how you would approach the issues that were faced.
