I am a highly skilled researcher, hacker, and software engineer. My core competencies include mathematical modeling, dynamics simulation, two and three dimensional computer graphics systems programming, software engineering and language theory, and graphic design.
I am comfortable working in C/C++, Java, Scheme LISP, and have
developed a number of programming languages, including the Sol
programming language (http://sol.media.mit.edu/
). I have
extensive knowledge of graphics programming under SGI IRIX and Linux
and have written many custom graphics and simulation applications,
including a high-level dynamics and simulation system based on OpenGL
(
25k lines of C++) and low-level graphics-systems programming
including a complete spline-based 3-D graphics system for Java 1.0 and
the AWT. (This graphics system was used to create a collection of
interactive, dynamic logos which took first prize in the Stuttgart
21 design competition, http://acg.media.mit.edu/stuttgart/
.)
