Liquid Haptics

Liquid haptics refers to computer interfaces utilizing liquid filled containers and designed to take advantage of the fine tactile sense and motor control of the hands. I developed liquid haptic devices using pillow shaped bladders to both measure high bandwidth tactile information from a person and deliver force feedback in the liquid itself. This interface work was done as my masters thesis work.

More information about Liquid Haptics is available from my masters thesis, available as a printable or smaller screen readable document.
