My sister's wedding provided the impetus for my most ambitious project in wood. I designed and built twin cherry dining room tables. One I gave to her, one I kept for myself. I tapered the inside of the legs to make them seem to splay slightly, giving them stability without weight. They contain no hardware, only wood joints.
